Sad day for Champ Car fans...

Well, Champ Car is no more. They've officially folded into the IRL. Not really sure how it'll all wash out but I can't see myself watching the IRL. But it's probably good for the sport. or at least it's a starting point. it may be too far gone to matter.



So, kind of a sad day.

    I know I am left with a feeling of loss. I refuse to watch the IRL. Hopefully it falls apart and maybe something decent will rise out of the ashes. Who knows, maybe Atlantics can carry the torch of real open wheel racing.

    It'll take some getting used to, that's for sure. I'm reading that the Atlantics are racing this year, so that's good.

    Maybe they'll race at Mt. Tremblant or Mosport! might not be a bad summer after all!
