Brickyard 400

And once again, 68 Barracuda has the dubious distinction of having the high score of the race. That's seven times, so far, including a run of three in a row!

And there's still 16 races left! Ahhh, it's been a long year so far, eh Daryl? :) Hornish is killing ya! Guess you won't be picking him next year. I read he's having sponsorship problems anyway. Might not have the funding for next year. Pretty amazing that Penske can't get sponsorship!

I think they're doing that Pocono thing this weekend. I'll try to get the results done the first of the week. ;)

...'til then.

Chicago race

Damn, did it again... and it was Reuti's first win, too. Oh well, guess I'll have to do it the hard way!

Coke Zero race

...and here's the results for the last race in Daytona.

This one really hurt Steve Thorpe's lead. It's been shaved down now to only 8 points! The Top 5 are all pretty close but I wouldn't rule out anyone else sneaking in, there's just too much racing left to do!

'til next week (hopefully, lol)...

New Hampshire race

Oops, I guess I missed this one.

I'll post the results here because we have a couple of weeks to get caught up on...

Sonoma race results

I didn't get a chance to watch the race, sounds like it was pretty dramatic in the end. Bad bit of luck for Marcus Ambrose...

Bad bit of luck as well for Moose. He dropped 2 spots, into 5th, after posting a 134. Which is more than double that of the leader, Steve Thorpe who carded a 63. Both Eat My Dust, who was the recepient of the low score award with a 53, and Sonia Smith took advantage of Mooses bad luck.

I think the Sprint cars are in New Hampshire next week. I heard they're going to announce an IndyCar race there for next year at the race. Should be good for the area to have IndyCars back and good for IndyCars to have a short-track back!

'til next week...
