Chris Buescher wins and plays spoiler in the playoff! Sounds like there was a little triumph and tragedy for everyone in the race today. Off to Dover for some crazy short track racing!
Here are the standings following the Watkins Glen race:
Chris Buescher wins and plays spoiler in the playoff! Sounds like there was a little triumph and tragedy for everyone in the race today. Off to Dover for some crazy short track racing!
Here are the standings following the Watkins Glen race:
Joey Logano wins the first race of the playoffs! Kyle Larson out early makes a big difference in the pool standings. Still pretty early days, so there's not a lot to read into it. Nine more races left to decide a champion and winner!
Here are the standings following the Atlanta race:
Hi Gang, sorry for the late results posted. I've been pretty busy the last few weeks and didn't get the time to post. But, we're caught up now and we'll keep on top of things as we're now into the playoffs!
What a finish for Chase Briscoe to win his way into the playoff for Stewart-Haas Racing for their last season of competition! Couldn't write a better script.
I hope your favourite drivers have been doing well for you this season and you've been having fun tracking their progress. Ten more chances to get into the Top 5 for the cash payout! Good luck for the final races.
Here are the results following the Darlington race:
Harrison Burton's first win in the Cup series! Always emotional when the colour commentator's kid is down on the track in the winners circle!
Looking at the results, The Galea Boys have tied things up with Scorpion for the first time this season! Tight battle between the two players!
Here are the standings following the Daytona race:
Austin Dillon was the race winner but had his playoff position taken away and he was penalized for wrecking cars for the win. I think he went over the line hooking Denny. Bad enough to wreck Joey but running into a bumper is a lot different then hooking someone into a wall.
Here are the results following the Richmond race:
Ryan Blaney is the race winner of the Pocono race. Bummed I missed this race, like the high speeds at Pocono.
Here are the standings following the Pocono race:
Alex Bowman is the race winner! He includes his name in the playoff picture. Nascar sure doesn't get any help from the weather at this race. Crazy rain last year and more delays this year. Spices up the race but it isn't something that comes naturally to the racers, so all the more challenging. Such a tight course, too.
Anyway, these types of races always shakes up our point standings and this one didn't fail. Scorpion had some big numbers (as I did as well) so that brought him back a little closer. Still a lot of races left to run but nice to see things tighten up a bit.
Here are the standings following the Chicago race:
I missed posting that Joey Logano was the race winner from Nashville.
Here are the standings following the Nashville race:
Christopher Bell wins the race after a rain delay. Funny that Chase Briscoe comes in second after Bell's flub this weekend outing his new teammate. :)
Here are the standings following the New Hampshire race:
Ryan Blaney takes the win at Iowa and gets himself into the playoffs. Catching up on this race that I missed...
Here are the standings following the Iowa race:
Kyle Larson is the race winner. Guess he put all that waiver stuff behind him and just went out and won the race! Quite the racer, that guy!
Here are the standings following the Sonoma race:
Austin Cindric wins for the 2nd time in his career and punches his ticket to the playoffs!
Here are the standings following the St. Louis race:
Christopher Bell is the race winner for the rain-shortened Coca-Cola 600. Sad to see Kyle Larson didn't get a chance to race in both races. Damn rain...
Here are the standings following the Charlotte race:
Brad Keselowski was the race winner, I just checked and that's his first of the season. In fact he hasn't won in 110 races, so I'm sure he's feeling pretty good about this race win!
Pretty cool to see all the throwback paint schemes on the cars! thought I was watching an old re-run. :)
Here are the standings following the Darlington race:
Kyle Larson was the race winner doing Kyle Larson type things! What an incredible finish, less than 0.001 seconds between first and second and only 0.003 seconds between first and fourth! Wow!
The broadcasters said that the finish was the closest in Nascar history. Pretty spectacular for sure!
Here are the standings following the Kansas race:
Denny Hamlin takes the win at Dover. I didn't get a chance to see the race, hope it was entertaining!
Here are the standings following the Dover race:
Tyler Reddick wins and punches his ticket to the playoffs! What a big wreck behind him as he dodged the mayhem, wow. McDowell blocked one too many times and paid the price. Superspeedway racing at it's finest (worst)!
Here are the standings following the Talladega race:
Chase Elliott is the race winner, breaking a 42 race winless streak. Saw lots of highlights and cautions for this race, always seems to be lots of action at Texas!
Here are the standings following the Texas race:
William Byron wins for the third time this season! Hendricks also comes in first, second, and third. First time that's been done. Such a dominant team!
Here are the standings following the Martinsville race:
Late night finish but Denny Hamlin prevailed for another hometown win! Short track racing at it's finest for some, not so much for others. Always lots of contact at Richmond.
Here are the standings following the Richmond race:
I didn't even know this race was run, sorry for the late results...
William Byron was the race winner. Seems track limits were a topic, always seems to be a problem at this track.
Here are the standings following the COTA race:
Denny Hamlin is the race winner! Quite the shred factory with the concrete track being used again. I guess Goodyear missed the call changing to concrete? Guess it made it more dramatic, and that's not always a bad thing. Onto the next race!
Here are the standings following the Bristol race:
Christopher Bell is the race winner of the Phoenix race. Starting to see the race wins spread among the teams instead of one team dominating everything. The season is still early but hopefully this trend continues.
Here are the standings following the Phoenix race:
Kyle Larson is the race winner and punches his ticket to the playoffs early! Every year he seems to put his car in a position to win the championship. Hell of a racer, even if you're not a fan.
Here are the standings following the Las Vegas race:
Daniel Suarez wins the race! Seemed like it was a popular result throughout the drivers in the series. There were a lot of crashes during this race so the results are pretty scrambled from the usual suspects.
Here are the standings following the Atlanta race:
